Our Vet surgery...

We hope that you all had a lovely christmas break and wish you a happy new year! The children have all settled back in school very well and have had a busy week.
This term we are learning about animals and this week we have changed our role play area into a vet surgery and pet shop. The children have been bringing in pictures of their pets and talking about them have all really enjoyed learning about the role of a vet. They have been busy caring for toy animals with bandages, medicine, food and drink...

Our Christmas party...

We had lots of fun at our party yesterday! Both reception classes celebrated together, we wore our Christmas hats...

All of the RK children, Miss Keane and Mrs Stratton would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Miss Keane and Mrs Stratton would especially like to thank parents for your kind cards, presents and good wishes at the end of this term. It has been a pleasure to teach the children and we look foward to seeing them in the new year!



A visit from Santa and Daisy Doodle...

Yesterday we had two special visitors in Reception: We had a wonderful entertainment show from Daisy Doodle and we had a very exciting visit from Santa and his little helper and the children all recieved candy cane sweets. The Children greatly enjoyed both events and I'm sure they told you all about it when they went home...

Our Building site...





The children have really enjoyed playing and building homes in our building site this week as part of our 'homes and materials' topic. I hope you have enjoyed looking at the pictures of them building away...






Christmas Dinner!!


On Tuesday, the children who wanted to have a christmas dinner at school really enjoyed the experience and all said how nice the food was, They all especially liked their puddings!

Our Christmas assembly!!












We had a lovely time performing our Christmas assembly 'Whoops- a- daisy angel' on Monday to parents and Key Stage 1. The children were all fantastic with their speaking and singing and I'm sure all parents had a wonderful time watching their performance. We hope you enjoy looking at some of our photos as a reminder of the special day!
