Have a look at our bike wash and rocket ship!

The children have been using their own ideas to create this term's role play areas for our Journey's topic.
We would really appreciate you sending in any items from home to help us with our bike wash, space rocket and forthcoming boat.
They have really enjoyed using their bike wash and have been learning about road safety with our own road signs and cycle paths...

Our Space rocket is nearly complete! The children have been very creative using their ideas to turn junk modelling materials and fabric into this so far...

And they have really enjoyed playing with our small world space station to give them lots of ideas for our own rocket...

Welcome back with International fortnight...

This week we welcomed the children back to school for the Summer Term by beginning our International Fortnight celebrations...
The children have enjoyed telling their own stories with our multicultural puppets...
They have had great fun painting their paper mache 'Carnival masks' for next weeks photography workshop...

And they have really enjoyed learning about and making African and carribean flags...

Making cress sandwiches!

Yesterday we made sandwiches with the cress that we have been growing in class
The best part was the tasting!!But before that we.....
Looked at the white roots growing at the bottom of the cress underneath the cotton wool
We buttered our bread and put in our ham and cress filling...
and we thought about what the cress looked, felt and smelt like...
